Forest School

Neurothentic in Nature

Our mission is to educate and empower Neurodivergent people and their families to live authentically, embracing who they are and thriving in supportive, inclusive environments.

A series of weekly Forest School sessions designed to educate, empower, and support Neurodivergent children and families. Our sessions take place in a nurturing outdoor environment that promotes wellbeing, curiosity, and connection with nature.

Our approach is neuroaffirmative. Sessions are delivered by Neurodivergent people for Neurodivergent people, with accessibility and inclusivity at the heart of everything we do. Each session is planned, risk assessed, and led by a Level 3 qualified Forest School Leader.

  • Safeand private woodland area
  • Designed for children who are home educated or unable to attend school and run during typical school hours.
  • Parents and carers are encouraged to stay
  • Two adults per child are welcome, and sibling discounts are available.

Forest School sessions go ahead in ALL weathers (as long as the site is safe enough), therefore it is important to dress accordingly and bring any protective items with you.

We advise:

  • Sturdy footwear
  • Warm socks
  • Waterproogs
  • Full length layers
  • Hats and gloves

We will provide hot drinks and a campfire to keep warm on very cold days.

Extra things to remember:

  • A drink
  • Suncream and sunglasses in hot/sunny weather
  • Spare clothes/shoes for the journey home

We understand many of our attendees may have sensoty difficulties which make multiple layers difficult. We want everyone to be safe AND comfortable so we ask that you risk assess this yourself and monitor your child's wellbeing throughout sessions.
